A good scheme meets trades who build to it. On supervised projects the studio walks the site each week - joinery lines, socket positions, paint build - and notes everything against the drawings. Queries from the trades are answered within the day, so progress never stalls over a phone ring.
Site supervision is booked alongside the scheme - it does not skim exceptional jobs.
Sitting With the Trades
What happened on the site, put right.
Working drawings get inspected against the room the trades built; anything departing from the scheme - a chase moved, a sill exposed - goes into the sheet as a settled note.
Snagging closes as it appears, not as a tail of afternoon meetings. The client gets one final walk-through with the finished sheet for the following tenants.
The drawing's last duty is the room check.
Site weeks are planned with the trades' schedule once the scheme is signed, so the desk visit is set when the work is certain.
